Our collaboration with you will uniquely benefit from one of us having been trained as an architect, while the second went old school with a traditional graphic design education. Both Kent State grads, we are a married couple committed to living and raising our family in Lakewood, Ohio until the the mortgage is paid off or the asteroid hits, whichever comes first.

Brian Frolo

Bio

Lakewood, Ohio resident Brian Frolo has a degree in architecture from Kent State University. Then after more than 14 years in architectural practice, he in 2007 changed gears and launched Codesign. Since then, Brian has built a graphic and web design studio that creates and maintains brands, websites and more for architects, law firms, non-profit, and faith-based groups.

Brian leads, and is the primary contact for, all design, project and account management activities.

His strengths include creating logos and identity systems, WordPress websites, signage, marketing collateral, and email marketing plans. He reserves a particular fondness for search engine optimization and managing social media profiles.

Karen Frolo

Designer, Married to the Boss

Bio

Lakewood, Ohio resident Karen Frolo has degree in graphic design and illustration from Kent State University. Her work history at award-winning design firms Dark Horse Design and Karen Skunta & Co. spans logos and identity, print design, video production, signage, illustration, and photo retouching. In her spare time, Karen is a mixed media artist who works in pen, wire, paper, polymer clay, and pixels.
